Bio
Ruby Margaret Reed, age 95, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 22, 2016. Margaret was born October 31, 1921, in Grayson County, Texas, to Gustaf Aaron and Anna Agusta (Lundquist) Westman. She married Jesse Reed in August of 1940. Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church of McKinney. Margaret is survived by her son, Buddy Reed and wife Cherry of Plano, Texas; daughter, Harriet Cutshall and husband Jim of Lake Jackson, Texas; grandsons, Reed Cutshall and wife Erin of Sugarland, Texas and Rob Reed and wife Misti of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Caley Lee and husband Chris of College Station, Texas and Jenny Weaver and husband Adam of Plano, Texas; eight great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Dr. Don Renshaw officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
