Bio

Jack Hart Services for Jack Hart, 73, were held Saturday morning at Tanner-Aulds Funeral Home with Rev Harold Riney, Pastor of the Kamay First Baptist Church, and Tom Iribeck of San Antonio officiating. Burial was that afternoon in Clairemont Cemetery. He was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Snyder. He and Gertrude Etheridge were married July 2, 1918, in Snyder. He was a rancher and had lived in the Iowa Park area 14 years He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wile; a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Lyles of Valley View; a brother, Bill of Snyder; three sisters, Treva Abercrombie and Ida Jo Longbothom of Snyder, and Helen Tate of Dripping Springs; two grandchildren; and two great grand children. The family suggests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church in Kamay. Taken from the Iowa Park Leader dated: 07/16/1987.
