Milton Willie "Babe" Jackson, 94, of Cleburne, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Tulsa, Okla. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. Babe was born in Clairette, Texas, to the late Charlie and Fannie Jackson. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war, he worked as a gas company collector. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Mae (Carr) Jackson. He is survived by daughters, Debbie Bell and husband, Bob, of Bedford, Linda Muse, of Clifton and Carolyn Hathcock and husband, Rev. Milton Hathcock, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sons, Jerry Jackson and wife, RosaLinda, of Plano, Larry Jackson and wife, Dee, of Arlington and Bill Jackson and wife, Vicki, of Ogden, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; other family members and many friends.
