Bio

Jesina Lind Mortensen immigrated with her parents to America in 1868 aboard the sailing ship Emerald Isle. The family went to Salt Lake City. On October 30, 1871 Jensina married Peter Anton Mortensen. The family moved to Levan, Utah and later to Kilgore, Idaho. Jensina and Peter were living in Montana with their son when Jensina died. Peter then went to Los Angeles to live with another son, Parley Mortensen.
