Bio

Harris Ray Ingram, 67, of Whitney passed away on March 7, 2011. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery. Ray was born February 1, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas and grew up in Abernathy, Texas. He was the son of Bill Jack and Ruth Tarver Ingram. Ray moved to Spring, Texas and married Elaine Bilbrey Pettit in 1988. They moved to Whitney, Texas where he built custom homes. Ray loved his family and was very proud of them. He loved and enjoyed his friends, the outdoors and antiques. Ray loved to tell a good story. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Jack and Ruth Ingram. Ray is survived by his wife Elaine Ingram; mother-in-law, Margaret Bilbrey of Carlsbad, New Mexico; brothers, Jack Ingram and wife Connie, Dale Ingram; children, Jay Ingram and wife Missy of Cunningham, Kelli Webb and husband Johnny of Oak Ridge, Justin Ingram and wife Angela of Frisco, Brandon Ingram and wife Suzie of Frisco, Melissa Ibanez and husband, Duff of Houston, Kaylynn Pettit of Addison; grandchildren, Casey Ingram, Colton Ingram, Josh Webb, Dalton Webb, Jadyn Ingram, Gracelynn Ingram and Tinley Ingram.
