Bio

Frederick. "Fred"is the son of John Haberer (b Oct 1854, NY, NY; d 10 Jan 1882, Boston MA) & Sarah Butler (b 1855, Manchester, MA; d 8 Aug 1884) of Boston MA. Fred rode the orphan train and was adopted by the Frank & Mary Mosman family in Lindsay TX. His brother John Irving Hoberer (b 27 Mar 1880 in Boston MA; d 15 Jan 1965 in Lindsay TX) came with him to Lindsay TX. Fred ran a country store with post office in Lindsay for many years. After he retired, he lived in San Antonio with his daughter, Katie Laux.
