Bio

Alene was the spouse of Ward Coleman Bond. They had four daughters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful Christian woman who inspired each of us to know God for ourslves. She and Ward were married 60 years. During WWII Alene worked as a nurse at the old Burge Hospital (now Cox North Hospital). She met Ward on a blind date and they were married four months later. Two of their daughters were also born in this hospital in Missouri.
