Bio
W.A. "Boots" Buchanan, age 84 of Ingram, passed away Wednesday, March 07, 2007 in a San Antonio hospital. He was born October 8, 1921 in Luling. In 1985, he married Lou Edler. Mr. Buchanan was a veteran who served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an owner of an oilfield welding service and of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Buchanan and a daughter, Sandra Weichold. He is survived by his wife, Lou Buchanan of Ingram; ; son, Ray Buchanan and wife, Ginger of Raleigh, NC; step sons, Stephen Edler and wife, Jennifer of Oklahoma and Chris Edler of Florida; step daughters, Pam Morey and husband, Bryan of Ingram and Pat Jackson and husband, Russell of Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007, 11 AM at Garden of Memories Cemetery officiated by Rev. Arlie Lammers.
