Bio

Lora Hudson Greer, beloved Mother and Ma, returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully after a short illness on March 16, 2011. She was born August 2, 1928 to Frank W. Hudson and Josie LaFern Baxter. Lora was a power for good. She served as 1st Counselor on the Primary Stake Board, 1st Counselor in the Ward Primary, Primary Teacher, and Sunday School Secretary. Lora was also a delegate to the Utah Democratic Convention. She is survived by her daughter, Gerolynn and granddaughter, Gerolynn Hargrove. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Greer. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Midvale Eighth Ward Chapel, 8350 Jackson Street. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), and one hour prior to the services, at the Church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens. Published in the Deseret News on March 19, 2011.
