The Progress, Clearfield, Pa., Tuesday, January 15, 2002 MORRISDALE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Deer Creek Road, Morrisdale, for June R. Yingling, 85, Morrisdale who died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at 5:44 a.m. at Philipsburg Area Hospital. Rev. Cheryl Houser will officiate. Interment will be at Allport Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesdy and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Born March 29, 1916, in Vermillion, S.D., she was a daughter of John and Jessie (McKellar) Lillie. She was a 1934 granduate of Lingle High School, Lingle, Wyo. Mrs. Yingling was a homemaker and also had been employed at the former General Cigar Company in Philipsburg for over 20 years. She was a member of Morrisdale United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. On arch 28, 1935, in Shawville, she wed George U. Yingling, who died on Dec. 30, 1999. She is survived by two daughtes, Jacqueline Jones of Morrisdale and Jean Dubovi of Leechburg; two sons, William Yingling of Philipsburg RR and John Yingling of Munson; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Norkett of Denver, Colo.; and a brother, Glenn Lillie of Homedale, Idaho. Mrs. Yingling was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Gerald Lee Yingling; two sisters, Verna and Florence and two brothers, Clarence and harlan. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Morrisdale United Methodist Church, RR 2 Box 395, Morrisdale, Pa. 16858.
