Lynn Jones, 64, Childress, Dies CHILDRESS, Tex. (Special) - Lynn Jones, 64, died Thursday in a Childress hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Childress, Church of Christ with Eldon Sanders of Kirkland Church of Christ, and Authur Judd, Childress Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under direction of Newberry Funeral Home. Jones, born Aug. 7, 1907 in the Elba community in Hardeman County, was a Kirkland farmer until 1956 when he moved to Childress. Survivors include his wife, Virgie; a son Jerry of Wichita Falls; a half-brother, B.E. of Quanah; two sisters, Mrs. Dick Holt of Watato, Wash., and Mrs. Ovie Turnstill of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
