Bio
Ethel Clyde Rosson Greenhaw was the daughter of Joseph Alonzo Rosson (1865 - 1948) and Jenne Juitha James Ford Curlin (1869 - 1932) - born in Jacksonville (Cherokee County), Texas. She was born on February 26, 1904. Ethel married Ollie Lee Greenhaw in Athens, Texas on April 30, 1930. She and Ollie had three children together -- two daughters and one son --Jenny Lee, Bettye Ross and Jimmy Daniel. All three children were born at home in the family farmhouse in the community of Aley, Texas. Ethel's husband Ollie passed away in 1942 and she never remarried. Ethel resided in the Aley Community until she moved to Dallas, Texas along with her two younger children, Bettye Ross and Jimmie Daniel in 1951 (after daughter Bettye Ross finished high school in Mabank, Texas.
