Listed on the 1840 RED RIVER Co,TX Census on the 1850 Census shown as born in TENN. and a registered voter in Collin County, Texas, 1867 records in same county shows him born in Kentucky. September 13, 1832 Married Elizabeth Ann McKinney in MILLER Co.ARKANSAS. After the RED RIVER FLOOD they moved, 1838, to Melissa, Texas. Hiram was a farmer and he also owned a GENERAL STORE near Stoney Point. He shipped frieght to Shreveport, Louisiana.
