Herbert Madison Keith Co News, Jan 6 1947 H. Madison, ill two years, dies Death comes Sunday evening at home on East Second Street Herbert Madison, 72, retired farmer, died at 7 o'clock Sunday night at the family home, 215 Second Street, after an illness of two years. His condition had been serious since last June. Coming to Ogallala from Geneva, Nebr., in 1912, Mr. Madison had been active in farming on the divide northeast of Roscoe until illness dictated his retirement.He is survived by his wife, four sons, Robert Madison of Camas, Wash., Byford of Vale, Ore., and Virgil and Bernard Madison, Ogallala, and four daughters, Mrs. Blanch Kenyon of Camas, Wash., Mrs. Lucille Thieler of Paxton and Mrs. Dorothy Thorpe and Mrs. Delores Garrard of Ogallala. The body is at the Stone Funeral Home.
