PITTSBURG - Graveside services for Virginia Joann Shearer, 71, Pittsburg, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Cemetery under direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Mrs. Shearer died March 2, 2011. She was born March 2, 1940, in Franklin County to Plez and Velma Worth Tedford. She was a homemaker and member of Newsome Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Clifton Shearer, and son, Joe Shearer. Survivors include sisters, Sandy Smith and Nancy Ellsworth. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
