Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, June 14, 1999 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for Agnes Christine Charanza with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Charanza, 85, was born July 13, 1913, in Penelope, Texas to the late Frank Joe and Albertina (Susik) Chromcak, and died Friday, June 11, 1999 in a Lufkin hospital. Mrs. Charanza was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, -Mary and John Carver of Huntington, Texas -Helen and Loyd Glenn of Lufkin, Texas Sons and daughters-in-law, -Emil, Jr. and Deborah Charanza, of Pollok, -Joe and Barbara Charanza of Huntington, -Raymond and Doris Charanza -George and Debbie Charanza, all of Lufkin; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild brother, George Chromcak of Crockett, Texas sisters, -Frances Brown of Crockett, Texas -Mary Chromcak of Lufkin, Texas -Angelina Lenart of West, Texas -Alvina Urban of Waco, Texas a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death husband, Emil Charanza Sr. brother, Frank Chromcak sister, Louise Chromcak Gipson-Hunter-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
