Bio
John was a Justice of the Peace and was elected as a County Commissioner of Perry County in 1826 when the courthouse was built. See Wright's "History of Perry County" for his official votes on Oct. 19, 1826 (p.187) He bought Lot No. 23 at the first sale of lots of Bloomfield Borough. He paid $46.oo for the lot on June 23, 1824. This was reprinted from "The Perry Review" in the Owen Family chapter of the booklet. Grandmother Elsie Stine Lebo wrote the article of our family history. In our copy she edited the mistakes.
