Maude Brock was born in Marion county Nov. 20, 1875, the daughter of Milton and Sarah Wilhoyte. On Nov. 6, 1892, she was married to W. L. Brock. He died in May, 1953. Mrs. Brock was a member of the Geff Christian church. Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Robert; four daughters, Eva Quinn, Helen Snyder, Kathryn McNely, and Pearl Tibbs; a sister, Mrs. Frank Molt; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Geff Christian church with interment in Bestow cemetery at Geff. Long's Funeral Home was in charge. Pyle July 5, 1873. They had 3 children: Oswald, Elizabeth Brock and W.M. of Nevada, Mo. Her husband died Jan. 10. 1880. Nov. 9, 1892 she married Samuel Anderson. One child, Anna. Her brother Oswald's obit in 1953 lists two sisters, Maude Brock and Mildred Middlesworth and a brother, W.M. Pyle of Webb City, Mo. -------------------------
