Bio
Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Evelyn Droddy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2004 in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Pitkin with Reverends J. D. Ford and Newton McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Droddy, 79, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 18, 2004 in Oakdale Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hadley Droddy. Mrs. Droddy was a dedicated member and Sunday School teacher at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Roger Droddy and his wife, Verona of Elizabeth and Gurves Droddy, and his wife, Betty of Pitkin; three brothers, Lloyd Johnson of Union Hill, Edward Johnson of Pitkin and Chris Johnson of Houma; four sisters, Norma Dean Martin of Houma, Christine Wright of Houston, TX, Jewel Doyle of Pitkin and Earlene Seals of Houma; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
