His name has sometimes been erroneously listed as Thomas Wilkerson Perkins, but it should be Thomas Wilson Perkins. He was named after his two grandfathers, Thomas Huff and John Wilson Perkins. He married Nita Lee Jones on June 11, 1905 in Regency (Mills County), TX. As of 2010, 3 of his 9 children are still living.
