Phyllis Stone, 85, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Chaplin Donnie Rollie of Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, Texas under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Phyllis was born July 30, 1928 to John and Maihell Grayson in Takoma, Washington. She married Gene Pearson in 1947. On March 1, l975, she married Hoss Stone in Lamesa, Texas; he preceded her in death in 1997. Phyllis loved shopping. She loved to play bridge and loved people. She loved to visit with all the kids in her neighborhood. She loved her girls from the hospital that she used to work with. Phyllis had a great sense of humor that was priceless and she made friends very easily. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Hoss; son Ron Pearson; and grandson John Pearson. She is survived by her son Mike and wife Donna Pearson of Andrews, Texas; daughters, Genny and husband Jerry Moore of Brownwood, Texas; Barbara and husband Wayne Hulshof of Bastrop, Texas; stepdaughter Jean Haney of Sache, Texas; brother David Grayson of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Wayne Hulshof, II, Justin Hulshof, Michelle Blevins, Ellen Sundquist, Chad Moore, Kelli McCoy, and step-grandchildren Michelle and Gina; ten great-grandchildren; and many special friends from San Angelo, Texas including Greg a Lydia.
