Janet I. Price, 64, of Sioux City died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008, in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Neil Peck officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Janet was born May 17, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Walter "Claude" and Dorothy (Wittern) Kent. She attended Sioux City schools. She married Merle L. Price on July 6, 1963, in South Sioux City. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Kent; five children and spouses, Doug and Carrie Price of Sioux City, DeAnna Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, Mike and Mary Price of Sioux City, Bill Price of Denver, Colo., and Kathy Price; a sister, Jo Ann Goolsberry of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; a sister, Jean Cole; and a son, Daniel Price.
