Bio

Josie was married three times: (#1) Press ADAMS, (#2) UNKNOWN MATHEWS, & (#3) Frederick GOODALL. Josie's parents were Reuben LONG b. 1837 TN & Sarah PETERS b. 1840 IL. Sarah's first husband was John HOUSTON. After the death of John Houston, Sara Jane and children Liz and Johnny, moved to near Granbury, Texas. Sara Jane Peters Houston married Reuben Long. Three children were born to this marriage: Joseph William Long (oldest), Josie Long, and Ruby Long. Josie's burial plot is 9-25-1.
