Anna Labay daughter of Valentin and Clara Drlik.Anna Drlik married Joseph Labay. ______________ Mrs.Joseph Labay,a resident of Colorado County and the Nada Community for the past 75 years,died at the home of her son,V.C. Labay in Nada,Thursday,July 21. She was born in Dubina,Texas on February 20,1875 and was 91 years old. She is survived by five daughters including Mrs.Amalie Skuca,Mrs.Julia Dornak and Mrs.Lucey Buzek all of El Campo,Mrs.Millie Palinek of Hungerford and Mrs.Albina Vojacek of Glen Flora;three sons,James Labay of El Campo,Alois and V.C. Labay of Nada. Also surviving is a sister,Mrs.Francis Waligura of Garwood,38 grandchildren,37 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs.Labay were held Saturday from the Triska Chapel with Mass in the St. Mary's Catholic Church at Nada. The Reverand Edmund Bily officiated and interment was in the Nada Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Labay,Stanley Labay,Fred Labay,Joe Skuca,Alois Palinek,and Daniel Malota.
