Herbert William Roper, born in Lamesa, Dawson County, Texas. he dies in Ft Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, of a brain aneurysm. He was married at the time. Son of Freeman William Roper and Bertha Etta Strickland. Bertha is buried at Highland Cemetery in Durant. He had one daughter who died of the same defect (Berri aneurysm aka Circle of Wills)
