Violet "Kiki" A. Northam, 63, of Lubbock was called upon by our Lord and Savior on Feb. 25, 2011. Violet was born on Oct 7, 1947 to Antonio and Violet Castillo. Violet married Maurice Eugene Northam, Jr. on Feb. 3, 1970 in Lubbock, TX. Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her undevoted love for family and friends will always be remembered and never forgotten. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Maurice Northam, III (Duke) of Lubbock; her daughter, Heather Northam; two sisters, Mary Rhoades of Bellview, FL and Sharon Mitchell of Georgetown; one brother, Tony Roger Castillo; five grandchildren; four nieces; and three nephews. Violet had so much love to give that she accumulated several other children through her life's journey, two daughters, Melissa Garcia-Brito and Marie Luera of Odessa; three sons, Carlos Luera of Odessa, Jessie Davila of Plano and Mike (Taco) Gonzales; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her dad, Antonio Castillo; her mother, Violet Castillo; her sister, Angel Castillo; and her husband, Maurice Eugene Northam, Jr.
