Bio

Funeral services for Mrs Bennie (Opal Mae) Derrough, 46, will be at 2 pm Sunday (February 13) from the Smyrna Baptist Church. The Revs Jimmy Joe Weldon & GB Herrington will officiate. Burial will be in Beauregard Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Mrs Derrough died at 12:05 am Friday in the Beauregard Memorial Baptist Hospital. She was a receptionist at a local dentist office & was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Bennie K. Derrough; 1 sister Mrs Estelle Gill, both of DeRidder; & 1 brother, Delford Deason of Lake Charles. ~newspaper obituary~
