Bio
Decatur: Guinn Charles White, 89, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Decatur. Private graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg. Guinn was born June 15, 1921 in Ferris, Oklahoma to Charles and Helen (Leddon) White. He received his Masters in Education from Huntington College in Montgomery Alabama. Guinn retired from the U.S. Air Force as Major and was principal of several schools after his retirement from the service. Left behind to cherish is memory is daughter, Guinda Derrico and husband, Joseph of Viera, Florida; two granddaughters, Lisa Knutson and husband, Michael of Rockledge, Florida and David Lahaie of East Greenbush, New York; two great grandsons, Zachary Knutson of Rockledge, Florida and Spencer Lahaie of East Greenbush, New York; and nephew Dale White and wife, Judy of Forestburg, Texas.
