Bio

Priscilla C. "Pat" Mullally, 93, of North Bend died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at Nye Pointe Health & Rehab Center in Fremont. She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Frederick and Hannah (Gray) Smith. She grew up in Van Meter, Iowa, and graduated from high school there. She moved to Omaha in 1944 and was employed by R.L. Polk Co. She moved to North Bend in 1966. Pat married Royal E. Desler on Oct. 22, 1940, in Sioux City, Iowa. He died April 3, 1968. Pat married Frank L. Mullally on Sept. 4, 1971, in North Bend. Frank died April 3, 2007. Survivors include: a daughter, Deb Mullally of North Bend; sons, Gary (and wife, Marge) Desler of Henderson, Nev., and David Desler and Mike Metcalf of San Francisco; stepsons, Jim (and wife, Marlene) Mullally of Fremont and Bob (and wife, Lisa) Mullally of Columbus; stepdaughters, Sharon (and husband, Dan) Strecker of Central City, Micki Walker of Columbus and Jean (and husband, Vaughn) Kinney of Tipton, Iowa; 24 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph Smith and Fred Smith Jr.; a sister, Caroline Smith; a stepson, Jack Mullally; and a son-in-law, Phil Walker. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. Lay minister Dorothy Smith will officiate. There is no visitation, however, the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, all at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Nye Pointe for their love and professional care.
