Bio

Gordon Dyas, Route 2, Dies Gordon M. Dyas of route two, Nampa, died at a local hospital last night following a brief illness. He was born Feb. 21, 1889, at St. Paul, Minn. and came to Idaho in 1910 where he farmed in Meridian until 1915. He then moved to Nampa and was employed by the Nampa Milling and Elevator Co. for 28 years ill health forced his retirement. He resided north of Nampa since 1931 and has farmed for the past two years. He is survived by his wife; Mary; nine sons, Lloyd D. Dyas of Vale, Ore. Ernest N., Kenneth L.,1 Lyhn O., Ore., A., Clarence William, Marland M., Donnie G. and Gordon, all of Nampa, five daughters, Mrs. Nina Grigg of Vale, Ore., Mrs. Irene Quigley of Tacoma, Miss Mary Louise Dyas, Miss Beth Annie Dyas and Miss Gordenia May Dyas, all of Nampa; four brothers, Dewey of Cresswell, Ore., Vernon of Middleton, Elwin of Mascot, Nebr. and Estle N. of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Vineta Judkins of Crestline, Calif.; and a stepson, Bobbie Lea Davenport of Nampa. Funeral, services will be announced later by the Robinson-Alsip chapel.
