Emma was married to Harvey Montgomery Lord (1900 - 1929) in 1919 and bore him 4 children: Stella Lord Jordan (1922 - 1991),Galvin Lord (1923 - 1998), Helen Lord Slusher (1926 - 2007), and Elaine Lord Braa Jones (1927 - 2004).Their father died when they were quite young, so the children became very close to their step-father and used his last name frequently while they were growing up and in school.
