(Ref: THE DAILY CURRENT-ARGUS, Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, dated for Monday, December 24, 1945, page 3, reads as follows: MRS. HARRIET MOODY SERVICES HELD TODAY Services were to be held today at 2 o'clock at the West Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Harriett E. Moody, 83, who died at a local hospital yesterday. She had been a resident here for about three months, making her home with her daughter, Mrs. A. Townsend of West Carlsbad. The Rev. L.B. Trone of the Methodist Church will conduct services and burial will be in the Carlsbad Cemetery. Surviving are five daughters and two sons, Mrs. Ophelia Townsend, Carlsbad; Mrs. Mabel Hart, Darrowzett, Texas; Mrs. Bertha Reed, Midland Texas, Mrs. Mary Barton, Coleman, Texas; Mrs. Louella Gregory, Lorenzo, Texas; Charles Moody, Cheyenne, Texas, and Mac Moody, Lubbock, Texas.
