Ruth "Ma" Erlanson, 78, of Robinson, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at her residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at China Spring Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Ruth was born on June 29, 1924 in Itasca, Texas, the daughter of John Henry Collier and Lena Blanch Pope Collier. She owned and operated the Heart of Texas Cafe on 9th & Austin Ave for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Erlanson; brothers, John and Pete Collier, sisers, Ruby Collier and Edna McAdams. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Ramsey and husband, Donald; grandson, Donnie Ramsey and wife Tracy; granddaughters, Tammy Bollinger and husband Phillip, Cindy Ramsey, Marla Klovanish; great-grandchildren, Desiree Bollinger, Cameron Bollinger, Kole Klovanish, Darrin Ramsey; special sister-in-law, Margie Collier; special brother-in-law, David McAdams; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
