Funeral services for Mrs. Maryanne Kotrola, 46, of Houston, who died Sunday night, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home chapel with Dr. W. M. Shamburger officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Kotrola's husband, Alvin, was also killed in the automobile accident between Taylor and Houston. Her daughter, Robin, 13, a passenger in the car, was hospitalized in Houston. Mrs. Kotrola had lived in Houston 25 years and taught in the Houston school system. She was a graduate of Tyler High School and the University of Houston. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Roberta Flanagan of Tyler; one son, George Lord Jr., serving with the U.S. Army at Ft. Benning, Ga.; two daughters, Dianna Lord of Washington, D.C., and Robin Lord of Houston; and one sister, Mrs. Gladys Johnson of Washington, D.C. Pallbearers are Raymond Boone, James Holverson, Roy Land, Jack Flannigan, Hope McMillian and Jim Mathews. (Bull) Kotrola was was killed in a head-on automobile collision along with his wife Maryanne, Sunday night. Service for the Kotrolas will be held at 10 A.M.
