First husband's last name was Carter. Ona Ruth Parsley of Waco, 74, died Saturday at her residence. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. today, Monday Jan. 11, 1993 at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Shelly Brooks officiating. Mrs. Parsley was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Snyder. She graduated from high school in Childress. Before moving to Waco in the mid 1980's, she lived in Dallas. She worked in offices of local manufacturers and in Dallas before her retirement.
