Nov 15,1946: Whitesboro - REV. NAT FARLEY , 50, died at his home at Whitesboro shortly after noon Wednesday following an illness of six months. He had been pastor of the Whitesboro Baptist Church for six years. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Whitesboro Baptist Church. The Rev. G. B. Bradshaw of Bowie officiated. Burial was in the Whitesboro Cemetery. Mr. Farley was born in Collin County, Dec 6, 1896, the son of the late J. L. & Lu Ann Farley.... Sept 14, 1918, he married Mrs. Bertha Corley at McKinney. He came to Grayson County in 1940 and was a pastor for 20 years, serving the South Church at Celeste, Maypearl & Howe before coming to Whitesboro. He was a Mason, a graduate from Burleson College, Greenville, Decatur Baptist College and the Baptist Seminary at Fort Worth. Survivors are his wife ; two daughters,, Mrs. Dan Smith of Gainesville and Miss Barbara Ann Farley of Whitesboro ; one stepson, Ike Farley of Los Angeles and five brothers,, J. W. Farley, Claude Farley and Mote Farley, all of McKinney, Bert Farley of Ada, Oklahoma & Clint Farley of Temple. ............................................................
