Son of: Lewis N Hopkins 1846 - 1926 Drucilla Matilda Morton Hopkins 1844 - 1921 Julius "Jule" Hopkins age 59 died April 19, 1934, in Terrell, Texas. Jule was born in 1875, in Tippah County, Mississippi to the late Lewis N. and Drucilla Matilda Morton Hopkins. Jule migrated to Texas with his family and by 1880 had settled in Kaufman County. Jule married Miss Minnie Beatrice McClain on August 23, 1904, in Kaufman, Texas. The couple moved several times and lived in Kaufman, Henderson and Van Zandt Counties. Jule was preceded by brothers, Jessie and John Hopkins. He was survived by his wife Minnie, and eleven children; Lillie Mae, Rosie Modene, Marion Franklin, Bessie Drucilla, Clifford Julius, Etta, Willie Donie, Marcus, Minnie Lee, Ruthie Viola and Gracie Marie Hopkins; brother, Dillard Hopkins; sisters, Emma Raglin, and Rosie Hopkins Stephens.
