Married Leo B Wilder on Jun 24, 1933 Edna Mae Wilde, 94, of Clyde passed away on December 29, 2010. She was born April 18, 1916 in Lott, Texas to John Thomas and Grace Ellen (Huddleston) Elliston. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Edna Mae married Leo B. Wilde June 24, 1933 in Temple, Texas. In 1952, they moved from Big Spring to Clyde, Texas where they were members of St. Joachim & Anne Catholic Church in Clyde for over 50 years. She is survived by her children: James and Edna Wilde of Merkel; Ellen and Larry Wenzel of Georgetown; Joann and Dennis Hamil of Clyde; Lorraine and Doug Frank of Kaufman; Elizabeth and Larry Bible of San Angelo; Marilyn and Roy Niehues of Ballinger; Charles Wilde of Abilene; Teresa Wilde of Boerne; Kenneth and Brenda Wilde of Abilene; and twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo; one daughter, Mary Catherine; one son, Harold Wayne; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at St. Joachim & Ann Catholic Church in Clyde at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2011 with Monsignor Robert Bush officiating. Rosary will be held just prior to the service with internment to follow in the Clyde Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home.
