Bio

Married daughter of William and Minerva Profitt Johnson, both born TN, who died of influenza and pellagra and was buried 19 Feb 1929. Source: TX D/C #9750, information provided by J. F. Sublett. Date of birth given as 6 March 1857. It was Lucy's brother Daniel Proffitt Johnson and his wife Mattie Isabelle Crews Johnson that died on the same day 2-21-1920 (not Lucy's parents). I am certain of this as my grandmother, Minerva Elizabeth Johnson Davis was left an orphan at the age of 8 and ended up living with the Splawns. Wanda Swindell
