Clark Frasier was born in Connecticut about 1801 and married Laura (Gibbs) Ellis about 1849 in New York. Laura had been previously married to Oliver Ellis, with whom she had twin sons, John Albert Ellis and Alfred Ellis, and a daughter, Georgiana. It is also believed that Clark was married previously and had sons named Madison Frasier and Ransom Frasier with his first wife. Clark and his wife Laura lived at Alexandria in Jefferson County, New York before moving to Eden, Wisconsin in Fond du Lac County in about 1850, where Clark was engaged in farming. In 1862, the Frasier family was living on 40 acres in Eden Township of Fond du Lac County. The farm was located on the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 27. The property started across the road a quarter mile east of the Odekirk Cemetery. Clark and Laura had a daughter and two sons together before Clark died January 9, 1872 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. He was buried in tiny Eden Central - Odekirk Cemetery in Eden Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. Following Clark's death, Laura journeyed to Exeter in Fillmore County, Nebraska with her son Llewellyn, in about 1873, where she would reside the remainder of her life.
