☆~ VETERAN, WORLD WAR II (1939-1945) ~☆ Clarence G. Rahmann, 90, of Gothenburg died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Clarence was born Feb. 5, 1921, in Hildreth to George H. and Mary (Petersen) Rahmann. On June 10, 1956, he married Lois (Marshall) Else in Elm Creek. Survivors are: wife, Lois Rahmann of Kearney; son, Dan Else and his wife, Trudy, of Gothenburg; daughter, Catherine Rahmann of Omaha; grandchildren, Kori Radloff and her husband, Eric, and Robert Else and his wife, Chris, all of Omaha, Sara Else and fiancé Blair Riffel of Lincoln and Rebecca Else of Gothenburg; and seven great-grandchildren. Clarence graduated from Hildreth High School in 1938. He served his country during World War II while enlisted in the U.S. Army military police. Clarence worked the majority of his life as a welder and maintenance man for Dekalb Seed Corn. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a past member of the Elks and Lions. Clarence enjoyed woodworking and building things out of metal. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Everett Rahmann; and sister, Ethel Rahm Published in the Kearney Hub on 2/16/2011
