Bio

Mary Ella was married to William Luther Stone on 24 November 1885 in Greenbush, Warren county, Illinois, by V. W. Butler, Justice of the Peace; this was 6 months after the date of birth given for their son, David Edward. She married widower Samuel Barry Coats on 30 August 1913. She then married Johnson Heck after the 1920 census, but before the 1926 Galesburg city directory. Although census records consistently list that she was born in Kansas, her death certificate lists that she was born at Roseville, Warren county, Illinois.
