Venice Olga (Whitaker) Terrell, daughter of John T. Whitaker & Roxie (Hammar) Whitaker. Sunday, Nov. 16, 1986 :: Funeral services for VENICE OLGA WHITAKER TERRELL, 78, of Weston who died Friday at North Texas Medical Center will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with Rev. Clyde Moore officiating. Interment will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery Terrell was born Nov 6, 1908 in Van Alstyne, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny T. Whitaker and married Wallace C. Terrell, Sr., May 9, 1924 in Van Alstyne. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Weston. Survivors include her husband of Weston ; three sons, W. T. Terrell of Richardson, Glen Terrell of Germany, Wallace C. Terrell, Jr of Weston ; two daughters, Mary Lee Putnam of Grand Prairie, Helen Greer of Pottsboro ; sister, Mrs. Jim Cornelius of Celina ; 14 grandchildren ; 12 great grandchildren ; 1 great great grandchild. Pallbearers : Bailey Dickerson, James Wade, Ray Lockridge, Edwin "Buddy" Hayes, Charlie Adams & Barney Elam. Honorary Pallbearers: J. H. Hyndman and John Putnam.
