Maxine Porteau Fontenot (July 10, 1948 - June 26, 2008) Kinder- The lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul; Funeral service for Mrs. Maxine Porteau Fontenot, 59, will be held Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Steve Rasco will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Reeves. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2pm-10pm and will continue Sunday at 8am until time of service. Mrs. Fontenot was a resident of Kinder. She passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bill Fontenot of Kinder; four daughters, Marty Langley of Kinder, Debbie Fontenot of New Orleans, Missy Attales of Kinder, & Wendy Attales of Kinder; son, Bubba Fontenot of Kinder; sister, Marilyn Marcantel of Oberlin; 8 grandchildren, Sydne Attales, Kennedy Fontenot, Dallas Fontenot, Russ Langley, Tanner Ortego, Alex Dowden, Andrew Langley, & Christian Manuel.
