January 11, 1934 - February 5, 2011 Norma Martin, 77, of Bryan, passed away at St. Joseph Regional Health Center on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Her family received guests during a visitation on Monday, February 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hiller Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rest Ever Memorial Mausoleum immediately following the funeral service. Norma was born to Freddie and Alice Jo Vick in Killeen and also attended high school there. Norma married her high school sweetheart, L.B. Martin in 1950 and was married for 50 years. She was employed as an admissions clerk at Texas A&M until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, family and friends. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Alice Jo Vick of Killeen; and her husband, L. B. Martin. She is survived by her sons, Kenny Martin and his wife, Donna, of Bryan, Ron Martin and daughter-in-law, Robin Martin, also of Bryan; a brother, Roy Vick and his wife, Pat, of Colleyville; grandchildren include, Ashley Bertling of Bryan, Addison Martin of Houston, Stacey Ksionda and husband, Jeremy, of College Station, Travis Martin of Irving, and fiancé, Brittney Stephenson; great-grandchildren, are Cole Bertling and Abby Ksionda. The family would like to thank all of the staff at St. Joseph Manor for the excellent care and personal attention she received over the years.
