Mrs. Frank Hosek, 76, of Ennis, died Friday in a Dallas hospital after a six-week illness. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Conrad of 2010 Burlington, when she became sick. Mrs. Hosek survived her husband, a retired rancher and farmer from Ennis, by three weeks and one day. Mrs. Hosek was an active member of Hampton Place Church of God in Dallas and frequently came from Ennis to attend services. Born in Missouri, she went to Ennis when she was ten years old and lived there the rest of her life. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. L. C. Eubanks, Mrs. L. M. Richmond and Mrs. C. C. Conrad, all of Dallas; Mrs. U. D. Marshall of Irving, Mrs. Alice Baten of Turkey, and Mrs. Olaf Peterson of Woodstock, Ill.; four sons, Leon B. Hosek of Dallas, Weldon R. Hosek of Lancaster, Marvin W. Hosek of Ennis, and Eugene A. Hosek of Pasadena; a sister, Mrs. Emma Pipkins of Dallas; eleven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at Lamar & Smith Chapel, 800 West Jefferson. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery, Ennis, after brief graveside rites.
