Carroll County Georgia Company H- 56th Regiment MUSTER ROLL OF COMPANY H, 56th REGIMENT GEORGIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY ARMY OF TENNESSEE C. S. A. CARROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA CARROLL INVINCIBLES Muse, Z. W., Sr.- Enlisted as a private in Co. F, 3d Regiment Ga. State Troops October 13, 1861. Appointed 4th Sergeant December 14, 1861. Roll dated April 12,1862, last on file, shows him present. Mustered out April 1862. Appointed 4th Sergeant of Co. H, 56th Regiment Ga. Inf. May 13,1862. Pension records show he was captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863, and paroled same day, and was at home on furlough close of war. Died in Carroll County, Ga. June 20, 1918.
