Bio

Ray Marple lived in Camas for 55 years. Was preceded in death by his wife, Lois in 1993, his daughter, Vickie Marple in 1999 and his brother Keith in 2001. Survived by one daughter, Linda Shinn of Camas; two sisters, Grace Knox of Vancouver and Marjorie Hicks of Evans, Colo.; one brother, Kenneth of Camas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Marple worked for Crown Zellerbach from 1947 to 1981. He was a member of the 25-Year Club. Mr. Marple worked at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard in California during World War II. A graveside service at 2 p.m. at Camas Cemetery.
