Ennis, Texas, June 2 - Funeral services will be held at 4 p. m. Monday in the Keever Chapel for Mrs. J. R. Lewis, 77, who died Saturday at her home near Bardwell. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. J. Dandridge, Dallas, and Mrs. J. B. Wylie, Bardwell; a son, A. L. Lewis, Bardwell; a brother, Bob Byrd, Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. C. P. Lewis, Durant, Okla., and Mrs. Will Schrader, Knoxville, Tenn. Twenty-six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dallas News 06-03-1946 D. cert: Louiza Hulda Lewis.
