Obituaries From The Dallas Morning News March 2009 Julia Royka Temple "Nanaw" Peacefully entered the presence of our Lord in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 28, 2009. Julia was born on September 22, 1914 in Terrell, Texas to Louisa and Frank Royka. She married Henry William Temple on November 18, 1933. She was a faithful member of East Ridge Baptist Church in Red Oak, formerly Sunny Glen Baptist in Dallas where she served as a children's Sunday School teacher for many years. She will be remembered for the love and service to her Lord and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, husband, daughter-in-law Linda Temple, and granddaughter Donna Culver. She is survived by her son Robert and Louise Temple of Cedar Hill; son Bill Temple of Cedar Hill; grandchildren William and Karen Temple of Arlington, Diana and Bill Branch of Shawnee, Kansas, Ken and Debbie Temple of Ovilla; great grandchildren Brittany and Blair, Allison and Victoria, Ashley and Will. Also survived by her sister-in-law and husband Virginia and Henry Martens, and cousin Rose Kuban. A celebration service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at East Ridge Baptist Church in Red Oak, with burial following at Oakland Memorial Cemetery in Terrell. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Arise and Build fund at East Ridge Baptist Church. Jaynes Funeral Chapel, 811 So. Cockrell Hill Road, Duncanville, Texas.
